Common fault detection of automation equipment
1. Check all power, air and hydraulic sources of automation equipment
problems with power, air and hydraulic sources often lead to failures of automation equipment. For example, there are problems in power supply, including the power supply failure of the whole workshop, such as low power supply, burned fuse, poor contact of power plug, etc; The air pump or hydraulic pump is not turned on, the pneumatic triplet or duplex is not turned on, and the relief valve or some pressure valves in the hydraulic system are not turned on. The following aspects should be included when testing automation equipment: power supply, including the power supply of each equipment and the power supply of the workshop. Air source, including air pressure source required by pneumatic device. Hydraulic source, including the working condition of the hydraulic pump required by the hydraulic device of automation equipment
2. Check whether the sensor position of the automation equipment is offset
due to the negligence of equipment maintenance personnel, there may be errors in the position of some sensors, such as not in place, sensor failure, sensitivity failure, etc. Always check the sensor position and sensitivity, and adjust it in time in case of deviation. If the sensor is broken, replace it immediately. Many times, in addition, due to the vibration of automation equipment, most sensors will be loose after long-term use. Therefore, during daily maintenance, it is necessary to often check whether the position of the sensor is correct and whether it is firmly fixed
3. Check the relays of automation equipment, flow control valves, pressure control valves
relays, like magnetic induction sensors, will also have grounding adhesion after long-term use. However, for most state-owned enterprises, the normal electrical circuit cannot be guaranteed, so it needs to be replaced. In pneumatic or hydraulic systems, the opening of throttle valve and the pressure regulating spring of pressure valve will also loosen or slide with the vibration of equipment. Like sensors, these devices are components in automation equipment that need daily maintenance with the demand range of China's cable industry expected to exceed 1.7 trillion yuan in 2022
4. Check the electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic circuit connections
if no problems are found in the above three steps, check all circuits. According to the statistics of China Plastics Processing Industry Association, check whether the wires in the circuit are open circuit, especially whether the wires in the trunking are cut off by the trunking due to pulling. Check the air pipe for damaging creases. Check whether the hydraulic oil pipe is blocked. If the air tube has serious creases, replace it immediately. Replace the hydraulic oil pipe as well
5. After ensuring the above steps are correct, the fault may appear in the controller of the automation equipment, but it can never be a program problem. First of all, do not be sure that the controller is damaged. As long as there is no serious short circuit, the controller has short-circuit protection inside, and the general short circuit will not burn the controller. Any automatic equipment is composed of three parts: actuator, sensor and controller. When the automatic equipment suddenly fails to work or the working sequence is abnormal, fault diagnosis must be carried out. Now let's learn about the methods of diagnosing the faults of automation equipment from the three parts of the equipment. Right grid
